Position Overview

The Commercial Analyst I is responsible for using analytics to support Greenfield’s Specialty Chemicals & Ingredients (SC&I) Commercial team and provide actionable insights to marketing and sales resources. They will execute and manage reports and dashboards in Dynamics 365 (D365) and Salesforce platforms while providing analytics and customer trends to marketing, sales teams, and sales leadership. In addition, they will serve as a project-based resource to drive key business initiatives, provide quarterly sales performance reports to leadership, and coordinate with marketing to provide a year-end Annual Report to the business. They will also monitor and report on OKR performance for our technology platforms and collect and analyze sales and order processing metrics to support managers across sales, order processing, and customer success teams.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Use analytics to support Greenfield’s SC&I Commercial team and provide actionable sales and customer insights to marketing and sales resources
  • Execute and manage reports and dashboards in D365 and Salesforce platforms
  • Provide analytics and customer trends to marketing, sales teams, and sales leadership
  • Serve as a project-based resource to drive key business initiatives (e.g. E-commerce platform upgrade)
  • Provide quarterly sales performance reports to leadership
  • Coordinate with marketing to provide year-end Annual Report to the business
  • Monitor and report on OKR performance for our technology platforms
  • Collect and analyze sales and order processing metrics to support managers across sales, order processing, and customer success teams
  • Monitor industry trends to assist in accuracy of pricing and product catalog offerings
Skills & Qualifications
  • BA/BS in a related field and/or equivalent experience (Degree in business, mathematics, statistics, a hard science, or another quantitative field preferred)
  • Demonstrable understanding of data analysis tools and techniques
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Expert in Excel
  • Salesforce Experience Preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI and/or Qlikview a plus
  • Excellent ability to juggle multiple priorities
