Position Overview

Oversee compliance to all Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, TTB, EPA, OSHA, DOT, FDA,DEA, REACH, FTC and Customs and Border Patrol.  Coordinate all regulatory related processes throughout operational, financial and commercial areas of Greenfield Global USA, ensuring compliance at all levels of the organization.  Review and stay abreast of changes in regulations and regulatory interpretation.  Advise management of concerns or changes that may require changes in process, infrastructure, etc.  Function as regulatory and risk watchdog for Greenfield Global USA operations.  Liaison with corporate legal and federal regulatory agencies.  Facilitate all regulatory agency audits.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Enforcement of compliant processes across Greenfield Global USA operations
  • Insure accurate and timely filing all monthly and annual federal, state and local regulatory reports.
  • Develop regulatory policies and procedures to be executed by the organization (ex. EH&S)
  • Coordinating internal annual audits of all regulatory processes
  • Oversight and maintenance of all regulatory registrations, permits and applications for same
  • Answer customer service and sales regulatory inquiries
  • Provide customer regulatory assistance when requested by commercial
  • Employee regulatory education
  • Engage and coordinate third party subject matter experts as necessary
  • Support and validate all regulatory automation and systems
  • Enforce regulatory required processes through all departments
  • Implement LEAN processes
  • Subscribe to the federal registry to insure notification of all upcoming or proposed changes in regulatory law, interpretation, and enforcement.
  • Advise management of any changing regulations that may affect Greenfield Global USA
  • Function as compliance watchdog raising risk issues with business unit leadership
  • Liaison with corporate legal to insure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Develop relationships with federal, state and local regulatory bodies
  • Oversee regulatory accounting clerks
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferable in scientific, legal or manufacturing discipline
  • 5-7 years of experience in Regulatory compliance, preferably chemical manufacturing
  • Knowledge and experience with hazardous materials facilities preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong systems skills, ERP system experience a plus
  • Previous LEAN experience
  • Excellent communication skills
