Greenfield is looking for a Manager, Finance Special Projects to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager, Finance Special Projects will improve existing processes by identifying, designing and implementing enhancements that meet current and anticipated future business requirements. The Manager, Finance Special Projects will participate in the multi-year D365 ERP implementation project. Additionally, this role will work on accounting and finance specific automation initiatives aligned with the department’s multi-year Roadmap.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Experience with large scale ERP’s such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience serving in accounting and finance managerial positions and/or finance project management.
  • Experience implementing ERP’s.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects of varying sizes and complexities with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully network and build relationships with internal clients, influence and obtain necessary input in order to accomplish goals and facilitate change management.
  • Ability to review current state processes and make recommendations to enhance productivity.
  • Strong time management, planning, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, along with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including experience in presenting to all levels of management.
  • Experience working on multiple projects with changing deadlines and priorities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to identify and evaluate areas and/or activities for process improvement.
  • Participate on the core team of the ERP system implementation.
  • Document current state processes using a variety of techniques, write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and train respective team members on these SOP’s.
  • Assist in the creation of business system requests and monitor progress.
  • Apply process improvement methodologies and principles to identify and plan improvements (process and technology) to current processes, applying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
  • Design future state processes to meet requirements, address gaps in the current state, exploit opportunities for improvement and efficiencies (including time & cost reduction).
  • Work with the development team to turn the future state process documentation into technical specifications.
  • Act as liaison between users and the development team throughout the development lifecycle (validate requirements, elaborate on requirements, demonstrate new technology to users, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver training & information sessions to end-users, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, and facilitate oral and written reports and presentations.
  • Ensure sufficient information is available to support internal training needs or external audit requirements, including documentation of current and historical processes, policy and procedure implementations or changes.
  • Work with process owners in assessing, tracking and reporting the benefits of all improvement projects.
  • Develop test plans, execute tests and lead users through UAT.
  • Provide post-implementation support to end-users.
  • Other finance-related special projects and/or duties as assigned.
