Position Overview

This position will be responsible for the general operations support of the Sales and Customer service teams, including system development and training. This position will also provide developmental and performance analysis support as needed. They may also be tasked with special projects at the discretion of the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations. The ideal candidate will be located near Brookfield, CT.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage Sales Performance Reporting (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, & Annual) including regular updates on CRM and online sales platform utilization
  • Proactively work under the direction of the Senior Manager across all sales teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement
  • Create and manage back-end product groupings to accelerate sales and marketing efforts
  • Implement online sales strategy at the direction of the Senior Manager
  • Provide support for key stakeholders utilizing the online sales platform
  • Identify and review customer complaint trends and perform Root Cause Analysis on the same as needed
  • Work with the Learning & Development Manager to create Sales and Customer Service Training content
  • Implement and review effectiveness of training programs with Managers and Sr. Manager Quarterly
  • Assist Senior Manager in appropriate onboarding activities, as directed
  • Assist in the execution of training/employee coaching as needed by Sales and/or Customer Service Managers, at the direction of the Senior Manager
  • Interface between the sales team and the new product selection committee regarding new product/customer requirements
  • Review Customer Service and Sales workflows quarterly for process and throughput improvement opportunities and suggest solutions to Senior Manager
  • Serve as data analytics support and oversight for special projects in the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service departments
  • Research hardware and software solutions for Sales Team productivity
  • General support for the ERP project as needed
  • Complete special projects as directed by Senior Leadership
  • Manage the Salesforce CRM as primary admin
  • Manage the online sales platform as primary admin
  • Manages conflict resolution matters as they arise in professional manner.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4-year degree, preferably in business, mathematics, chemistry, or related fields
  • Advanced database and Excel skills
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Salesforce administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in managing online sales preferred
  • Continuous improvement skills/certifications a plus.
