Greenfield is looking for a Production Operator to join our growing team.

Greenfield Global’s Renewable Energy Business Unit is going through a period of accelerated development, where the need to carry out major projects justifies the addition of internal and external resources to ensure the quality of services. As part of a team working on relays and on a continuous basis, the Production Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating the plant’s control system on a daily basis, in order to process the residual materials received safely and efficiently.

  • You have a college diploma in chemical processes, industrial chemistry, or equivalent;
  • You have a college diploma in chemical processes, biomethanization, water treatment, or the equivalent.
Your Experience Should Include:
  • 3-5 years’ operating experience in a continuous production plant, or in a related sector.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate process equipment and ensure safe and efficient process control;
  • Supervise production operations using a variety of computer screens, meters, gauges, recording devices and alarms;
  • Participate in optimizing the plant’s processing capacity in compliance with established safety policies;
  • Maintain the necessary lead times between batches destined for grinding;
  • Help coordinate the actions of other team members, to ensure the smooth running of the process;
  • Participate in equipment maintenance programs;
  • Complete process and daily production reports;
  • Coordinate shipments;
  • Carry out inspection rounds at regular intervals, to detect defects and the need for repair, adjustment or lubrication;
  • Clean and disinfect process equipment as required;
  • Be versatile and able to substitute on other workstations when required.
