Position Overview

Production Supervisor will provide leadership and direction for our work venues. You will be responsible for supervising, training and motivating team members of the assigned venue daily.

As a Supervisor, you will be the contact point for the assigned team members.  Your communication and interpersonal skills must be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Ultimately, we will expect you to lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals, with a focus on safety, quality, and throughput.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring safety guidelines are followed
  • Create a team environment with an open communication culture
  • Train staff on work responsibilities
  • Set clear team goals against daily schedules and objectives
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines for team members
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of assigned venues
  • Ensuring all assigned work venues are clean and organized
  • Ensure assigned equipment and related documentation is in compliance
  • Monitor team performance and report progress as needed
  • Motivate team members
  • Discover training needs and provide on-site coaching
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and suggestions
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments with recognition
  • Follows hazardous waste procedures, places waste in labelled satellite accumulation containers, keeps containers closed unless adding to them, notifies supervision when containers are full or if there are any issues including but not limited to a spill or release.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven work experience and qualifications as a collaborative and agile team member
  • Adheres, exemplifies and fully complies with the Company’s Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Procedures
  • Participate, support and maintain Lean continuous improvement activities
  • In-depth knowledge of work venue equipment and manufacturing process
  • Good PC skills, especially with NAV and scanner application
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to adapt to floor and schedule changes
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
