Greenfield is looking for a Scale Clerk to join our growing team.
A Scale House Clerk will work as part of an overall team to sample, grade and process all paperwork related to the receipt of incoming corn shipments. They will also generate all required shipping documentation for Ethanol, Distillers Grains and Corn Oil products. The individual must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks. It is expected that a Scale House Clerk will help to solve practical problems using a team approach.

Who You Are:- High school diploma
- Demonstrated equivalent in work experience
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

- Within area of responsibility, positively support goals and objectives in the areas of Safety, Environment, Product Quality and Consistency, Customer Service, ISO compliance, FSMA compliance, FEMAS compliance, FSSC, ISCC compliance, Internal Supplier Relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate positively in and support compliance of FEMAS, FSMA and any other food and feed safety standard.
- Responsible for the sampling of all incoming corn shipments to using a hydraulically operated corn probe and camera system.
- Carry out the Corn Grading process as outlined by the Greenfield Corn Grading procedure.
- Ensure safe storage, handling and shipping of all food and feed ingredients, and compliance with FEMAs and other relevant food and feed safety requirements.
- Communicate with drivers both via CB and in person to verify load number, sign in and out and ensure they are aware of the rules while onsite.
- Record all pertinent delivery information, including corn grades into AGSmart.
- Maintenance of a web-based schedule in order to ensure timely loads into and out of the plant.
- Prepare all shipping documents required for the receipt of corn.
- Work with Grain Shipping to ensure all Distillers Grains loads are loaded as per customer request.
- Prepare all shipping documents required for the shipment of Distillers Grains and Corn Oil both nationally and internationally.
- Maintain all Grain laboratory equipment, including required calibrations & routine preventative maintenance.
- Other duties as required.
