Position Overview | The Warehouse Manager accountable for actively managing the daily warehouse operation including:
- On-time order fulfillment
- Leading Shipping staff to successfully attain daily, short-term, and long-term objectives
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse facility
- Ensure all employees are properly trained and cross-trained
- Ensure scheduling and documentation requirements are met
- Shipping process design improvement and new process development
- Ensure balanced distribution of workload throughout department
- Minimize department costs including overtime and shipping supplies
- Ensure all equipment and resources are performing at optimum levels
- Comply with ISO and Regulatory requirements
- Support customer service, Manufacturing, Sales and other departments as necessary
- Implement and promote continuous improvement through LEAN initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities |
- Take complete ownership of the department in terms of management of staff, picking orders, staging shipments, posting shipments, and ensuring sure the warehouse is well organized and clean
- Assists other departments with information related to the status of customer orders, consumable materials, quality issues and employee safety concerns
- Responsible for the quality of the products before and during shipment in line with the company quality systems, procedures and processes
- Responsible for the accuracy of paper work, Bill of Ladings, Pick Lists, reporting and training / employee certification
- Manage, motivate, develop and discipline direct reporting staff
- Monitor measure and report on shipping/receiving related process performances, general issues
- Utilize business management tools to effectively manage the department
- Ensure good communication is given both verbally and written to all members of staff
- Ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift
- Manage time and tasks throughout the day and communicate any issues related to employees and products
- Assist in trouble shooting, root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions on all issues related to safety, quality, and performance
- Monitor and ensure all staff are completing paperwork timely and accurately
- Train, support and participate in any Lean or process improvement initiatives
- Works closely with other shift supervisors and other work center supervisors
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
