Greenfield is looking for a Director, Marketing Operations & Analytics to join our growing team.

About the Role:

Greenfield is looking for an exceptional leader to build a strategic Marketing Operations & Analytics function within our growing marketing team. This candidate will drive growth and improve efficiency by enhancing our marketing technology strategy for both sales and marketing efforts (CRM and automation infrastructure, ABM deployment, and enterprise content and ecommerce site), optimizing our digital marketing strategy (SEO, SEM, and social channel operations), and develop our marketing analytics capability to identify opportunities and measures results.  You will lead a lead team of 3 marketers – 2 current team members with expertise in CRM, automation and web execution, and one team member to hire that will have marketing analytics expertise.

Success in this role will be measured on a mix of qualitative and quantitative metrics that show results of improvements in our digital strategies, campaign ROIs, sales pipeline quality, and reporting accuracy and visibility.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, analytics, data science, technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing, analytics, or project management such as SQL, SFDC, Pardot, Hubspot, ABM technologies, etc  are a plus
  • Collaborative partner who builds strong relationships across Sales, Finance, Product, and IT.
  • Customer-centric approach to digital experience design and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work remotely in U.S. or Canada (working mostly EST zone hours)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
Your Experience Should Include:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, and analytics.
  • 5+ years of leading marketing operations, digital marketing, and analytics teams
  • Material experience in B2B manufacturing industry, upstream inputs to life science, flavor, beverage, food, cosmetic, plastics, industrials, consumables major plus
  • Experience working in sophisticated companies with clear procedures and high expectations as well as smaller, agile, entrepreneurial organizations with proven success leading and doing cultures
  • Strong understanding of mar-tech ecosystems (content and ecommerce websites, CRM, ABM,  marketing automation platforms, lead scoring etc) including design, integration, and vendor management
  • Strong background in data-driven marketing, including lead generation, prioritization, and pipeline acceleration using internal and third-party data.
  • Deep expertise in sales data analytics, including prospect data analysis and prioritization, audience segmentation and targeting using internal and external data
  • Experience building operational systems that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in marketing for predictive modeling
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach to execution, the ability to generate strategy and translate that into actionable plans and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology & Innovation:

  • Optimize the full-funnel marketing tech stack (CMS, e-commerce, PIM, CRM, automation, ABM, lead-scoring) to drive growth (SEO/SEM), enhance efficiency, personalization, and scalability.
  • Replatform and redesign of content and ecommerce sites to align UX/UI with strategic growth priorities and ensure client findability, ease of use, and increase conversions
  • Ensure seamless integration across marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms to support end-to-end campaign execution and measurement.
  • Implement project management tools and workflows that accelerate delivery and ensure brand and compliance standards.

Digital Marketing Operations & Channel Management:

  • Oversee digital marketing execution across paid media, SEO, display, and social channels.
  • Drive website strategy, content optimization, and user experience enhancements to increase engagement and conversion.
  • Establish best practices for digital campaign execution, measurement, and optimization

Analytics & Insights to Drive Growth:

  • Build and lead a marketing analytics function, including hiring and developing a high-performing analyst to support team needs
  • Collaborate with growth marketers to build and enrich CRM database for prospect nurturing/pipeline development and enhance CRM for customer growth and loyalty programs
  • Lead analyst to build “always-on” opportunity identification systems for prospects and clients, including product & messaging recommendations based on internal and external data (intent, propensity, purchase behavior, online behavior, cross-sale, expansion, and pre-attrition/loyalty insights)
  • Translate real-time signals from campaigns, site behavior, and sales metrics into trigger-based marketing and sales actions that get pulled through the CRM
  • Systematize competitive and market intelligence gathering from sales and other channels
  • Help product, sales and growth marketers to analyze new product, segment, and industry opportunities

Marketing Overall Result Reporting:

  • Define marketing scorecard KPIs and revenue attribution tied to pipeline, revenue, and customer value
  • Develop comprehensive measurement frameworks to evaluate marketing performance and ROI Lifetime value, cost of acquisition, churn rates, etc.

Team Leadership & Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing operations and analytics professionals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Align team priorities with strategic business objectives through effective resource planning and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, IT, and Customer Service to ensure alignment, share data, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Support sales enablement by ensuring alignment on lead scoring, routing, and follow-up processes.
  • Champion a data-driven mindset across the marketing organization.

  • Stay ahead of marketing trends, tools, and analytics techniques to drive innovation.
  • Continuously refine marketing operations to improve agility, scalability, and effectiveness.
