Greenfield is looking for a Business Relations Representative to join our growing team.

Greenfield is seeking a passionate and proactive representative to strengthen its presence within Quebec’s agricultural community. This strategic role aims to build and maintain strong relationships with grain corn producers while closely monitoring market dynamics and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the company’s visibility, ensuring reliable supply, and supporting internal operations.

Who You Are:
  • Have solid knowledge of agriculture and crop production, particularly grain corn, both agronomically and in terms of market trends.
  • Are comfortable with frequent travel and fieldwork.
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or have equivalent experience.
  • Are bilingual.
  • Take initiative with autonomy and sound judgment.
  • Can build and maintain strong, authentic interpersonal relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

Company Outreach in the Industry

  • Conduct regular visits to producers to assess crop conditions and strengthen long-term, trust-based relationships with farmers.
  • Promote Greenfield’s mission and values within the agricultural community, representing the company at agricultural boards, events, cooperatives, and other local initiatives.
  • Organize events (presentations, tours, etc.) to promote Greenfield in the region.
  • Serve as a reference point to help producers understand expectations, needs, and procedures related to grain corn procurement at Greenfield.
  • Co-develop strategies with producers to enhance partnerships and joint initiatives.

Market Orientation and Regulation

  • Monitor grain corn market trends, crop conditions, and competitor activities in alignment with Greenfield’s development strategies.
  • Identify and report risks related to crops, weather conditions, or supplier reliability.
  • Ensure all suppliers comply with regulatory requirements, including the Clean Fuel Regulations, ISCC, and others.
  • Contribute to contingency planning in response to market challenges or unforeseen events.

Team Support

  • Maintain ongoing communication with the procurement team regarding local dynamics and market trends to optimize daily operations.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic analyses to leadership to support decision-making.
  • Keep an up-to-date database of farm profiles and supplier records.
  • Track contracts, onboard new suppliers, manage settlements, and provide administrative support when needed.
