Greenfield is looking for a Systems and Security Administrator to join our growing team.
The Systems and Security Administrator is a key member of the IT Operations team responsible for supporting, maintaining, and securing Greenfield’s enterprise systems. Working collaboratively with senior team members, the cybersecurity team, and the broader IT organization, this role ensures stable, reliable, and secure day‑to‑day operations across both on‑premises and cloud environments.
This position is ideal for an IT professional with strong core infrastructure experience who enjoys working in a team environment and is eager to grow their skills in both systems administration and cybersecurity. In addition to traditional systems duties, the SecOps Administrator participates in cybersecurity alert triage, assists with incident response, and helps enforce secure configurations aligned with IT standards and policies.

- 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
- 1-2 years of cybersecurity principles, SIEM platforms and secure configurations.
- Solid experience with enterprise storage, backups, and recovery concepts (Veeam experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and TCP/IP.
- Experience managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with Intune or other MDM platforms.
- Experience with monitoring tools and alert tuning.
- Exposure to Cisco UCS or similar enterprise hardware platforms.
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, logic apps, workflow tools).
- Familiarity with open-source platforms and observability tools.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar methodologies
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Support daily operations across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, SAN storage, and core infrastructure services.
- Assist in maintaining backup and recovery platforms, including job monitoring, restore testing, and coordination with senior team members.
- Participate in maintaining system monitoring tools and improving alert quality to ensure actionable notifications.
- Support patching, updates, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) or workflow platforms.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Monitor and maintain hybrid identities and SAML configurations.
- Maintain clear documentation for incidents, system changes, and security responses.
Cybersecurity Responsibilities
- Monitor and triage security alerts from endpoint protection, identity protection, SIEM, email security, and other security platforms.
- Escalate incidents following established severity criteria and documented response procedures.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation activities including patching, configuration corrections, and hardening tasks.
- Help maintain secure configurations across servers, endpoints, and SaaS services in accordance with IT security policies.
- Participate in periodic security reviews, audits, or compliance activities, and on‑call rotation as required.
Total Compensation & Care:
- Base salary dependent on experience and demonstrated performance – $85,000 to $95,000
