Greenfield is looking for a D365 Technical Architect to join our growing team.

The D365 Technical Architect role is critical to the success of Greenfield’s D365 Finance and Operations ERP deployment roadmap.

The Technical Architect is responsible for overseeing the application, its life cycle, architecture, implementation and code management for the D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) deployment across all Greenfield Global companies.  Greenfield runs in a 24/7 environment; some duties are required to be performed during off hours.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Technology, Management Computer/Information Systems or related field.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Experience performing the job duties listed or in a related occupation of the following: Sr. Application Consultant, Lead Technical Consultant, Sr. Technical Consultant, Technical Analyst, Developer, Technical Architect, Applications Architect, Sr. Programming Consultant.
  • 5+ years of X++ development experience
  • Extensive knowledge of various Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solution areas, particularly in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations, and finance.
  • Experience with Power Platform, GIT, Azure Portal/ Services, SharePoint, C#, .Net, SQL Server, Common Data Service and other Azure Services including Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, etc.
  • 3+ years of D365 system integration experience (EDI, eCommerce, CRM etc.)
  • 3+ years of working with DevOps CI/CD implementation and support experience
Bonus Points If You Have Any of These:
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 F&O/AX
  • MB-700: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect
Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and adhere to Enterprise architecture best practices for D365 F&O and Power Platform.
  • Provide governance and oversight throughout the D365 Finance and Operations application lifecycle management process.
  • Design and code applications per requirements captured in Functional design documents and technical design documents where needed.
  • Oversee the technical design process when extending F&O to ensure functional designs are correctly interpreted and requirements have been met with no gaps.
  • Work with the management team to review technical designs and estimate overall development efforts and risks to optimize operational efficiency of F&O using best practices.
  • Design, develop and document integrations between applications.
  • Manage implementations and project delivery in a lead developer role with technical analysis, code review, release management and code performance optimization – contributing to successful F&O rollouts across multiple legal entities.
  • Promote code changes through established unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing processes.
  • Develop and troubleshoot using general programming languages C#, .NET & X++ for D365 extensions and integrations.
  • Perform data migrations and integrations using ODATA and Data Management Framework Entities.
  • Implement and support REST API Endpoints to external systems integrations.
  • Build, support, and maintain development using DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • Assist with D365 updates and migration of environments across sandboxes, UAT, and into Production.
  • Provide technical support for escalated incidents.
  • Develop and maintain systems-related technical documentation to facilitate implementation, ongoing application support, and internal cross-training.
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate with junior IT team members.
  • Follow Information Technology policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
