Greenfield is looking for a Export Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Export Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with all exports at the Brampton plant as well as support export activities at other Greenfield locations. The Exports Logistics Coordinator is a functional backup to the Export Logistics Manager.

- Completion of post-secondary education in International Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics, and or Transportation and Customs Management or another similar field.
- 3 – 4 years of relevant work experience in a continuous process environment
- Experience in problem solving, continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Proven ability in organization, decision-making, and problem-solving techniques
- CCPL, CTCS, and CCS designations would be an asset
- Act as a liaison among various external/international teams in Export Managers absence
- Assists with any required government reports including CERS and Trade agreement audits
- Assists with pre-export coordination processes, from pre-order coordination including freight rates negotiation, execution, pricing documentation and billing
- Assist with the planning and coordination of daily logistics for ocean, air and ground Dangerous Goods intermodal shipments and 3PL relationship
- Keep up to date knowledge with current and relevant legislation, political factors and other situations that may affect the movement of goods globally
- Assist with the production planning, maintaining inventory/transfer and control
- Track export container shipments providing weekly updates to customers informing them of ETA, and product on route
- Maintains customer account spreadsheets and provides customers with regular updates
- Works directly with ocean carriers handling related logistical requirements
- Reviews and audits all ocean freight invoices for alcohol export and DDG shipments
- Assist with the maintenance of ocean freight rates summary to various export destinations
- Assists with the preparation of document sets to financial institutions for payment
- Assists with securing rail reservations for alcohol shipments from Brampton, working closely with plant personnel on export shipments and DDG
- Performs cargo release in a timely fashion, when required and authorized by Management
- Assist with coordinating and scheduling of DDG shipments at various loading points (working directly with Transportation Service providers and Load Point Staff)
- Work closely with bulk alcohol export and grain shipments out of DMO distilleries
- Assist with the coordination and positioning of FCL and Bulk ISO Tanks at multiple locations
- Creation and continuous maintenance of SOPs on the Export processes
- Performs back up support to the Export Logistics Manager, Export Customer Service Representative and Export Shipping Representative during vacation/absences
- Comply with all Company health and safety, environmental, and quality policies and regulatory requirements
- Other duties and responsibilities aligned to business objectives and in support of our core principles
